Coach Scott Bracco is entering his ninth year as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Lambert High School. Coach Bracco has put Lambert Basketball on the map with a career record of 177-55 in his eight years at the helm.

In 2015 – 2016, Coach Bracco led the Longhorns to a record setting season with a 27-3 overall record and an undefeated Region record of 21-0 with their third consecutive Sweet-16 finish in Class 6A. In addition, the Longhorns captured the Region 6-6A regular season and Back to Back 6-6A Region Championship. The Longhorns were ranked in the Top 10 throughout the entire season. The Longhorns were recognized as the Forsyth County Tip-Off Club “Team of the Year” for the fourth consecutive year. Navy signee Connor Mannion was named All-State, Region 6-6A and Forsyth County Player of the Year. Ross Morkem, Andrew Melms and Austin Deckard were also honored for all-region and all-county. Coach Bracco was recognized as the Region 6-6A” Coach of the Year” and named the Forsyth County Tip-Off Club “Coach of the Year” for the fourth consecutive year.

Coach Bracco guided his Dunwoody High School basketball teams to four Final Fours, four Region Championships and captured back to back State Championships in 2005 and 2006. Coach Bracco has helped place over 50 players to the collegiate level and coached a McDonald’s All-American in Chris Singleton (Florida State, Washington Wizards) and Anjuan Wilderness (Charlotte) 3X Georgia Player of the Year. Coach Bracco has developed 8 All-State selections. He currently has 4 players playing professionally overseas. Scott is married to Kara Bracco and they have three beautiful children: Bryce (12), Blake (9), and Braden (7).
