Aly tells us about growing up in St. Louis and her love for soccer as a young girl. Carrie is curious what it was like going to the journalism school at Mizzou. Aly tells us about working full time as a copy writer and covering sports in KC on the side for free and how it eventually lead to a full-time gig with Sports Radio 810. Carrie is curious how she got the gig with the KC WOSO and Aly gives us the details on how she made her own opportunities along the way. Carrie and Aly talk about the recent sexual harassment allegations against a male soccer coach in the NWSL and how everyone can do a better job or creating a safe space for women in sports.
