Dr Anitha Ranganathan was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in February 2020. She is a retired ENT surgeon. She is an integrated sleep expert and helps people to sleep better. When she felt the lump and went for a mammogram, it was diagnosed as Breast Cancer, and mastectomy was done; she went through 15-20 radiation therapies. She is currently on Tamoxifen for the next five years. She always believed in meditation and prayers, which gave her a lot of strength. She tells everyone to be aware of their body and do self-examinations frequently. Always ask for support whenever needed because it is essential to have your loved one's by your side during such times. Writing and expressing her in different ways has helped her to heal better.
