But Jesus wasn't the only person facing judgment at the hands of Pontius Pilate, but Barabbas. Jesus would soon face the most cruel, and grueling of all tortures through no fault of His own. Yet He went willingly, in obedience to The Father, and out of love—yet it is humbling & heartbreaking to know that He had to endure it all for each of us. It's been said, "Love held Jesus To The Cross." Today we get a glimpse of the opposite as the soldiers mock and beat Him... The Hour Had Come...
