Patrick Mahomes was a bit of a surprising 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. After a prolific career at Texas Tech that probably didn’t get enough attention, Mahomes has become the NFL’s best quarterback. Jalen Hurts’ college career started at Alabama and ended at Oklahoma. Who would have guessed that the second-round pick would end up the best of star-studded list of first-rounders and Heisman Trophy winners that played with him at Alabama and before him at Oklahoma.
