The thing about working with high-value affiliates is that they're in a relationship-driven industry, meaning you'll need to share your time, attention, and resources to nurture and grow your network. To add to that, when you want an affiliate to send you a tremendous amount of traffic, generally they have a host of offers that are in front of you in line.

So how do you get your offer promoted then?

Well, according to Spears, you could pre-pay. Seriously. Affiliates take most of the risk with their list, if you don't have a proven offer or relationship.

Ask what you can do to further the relationship. Go to your top affiliate and express your interests, desires, plans and see how you can do more.

Another tip: get on everyone's email address to see what offers are coming up. You can see what offers they're running and gather an understanding of the landscape of these lists.
