We talk about making friends well into adulthood, keeping friends even when we have transient lifestyles and various demands on our time, and creating more meaningful connections with people who share our passions and values. I’m Cecelia - wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. I’ve moved a lot as a military spouse, and I’ve had the pleasure of making new friends in communities around the globe. Keeping those friendships going has been an honor and a privilege. Still, I don’t get to see or talk to my friends as often as I would like. So, I started The Friendship Tour as a way to connect and reconnect with friends near and far. Somewhere along the way, though, I discovered that friendship is not only beautiful, but complicated!
