Does Religion Lead to Tolerance or Intolerance? An international three-day conference in Oxford, organised by the Science and Religious Conflict Project team. It is an interdisciplinary conference on the theme of empirically informed approaches to understanding the ways in which religion increases or decreases tolerance.
 
What are “religious affections” and how have they influenced individuals, communities, and cultures? Leading experts in history, literature, and religious studies explore how religion shaped the roots, limits, and consequences of affections in the diverse terrain of early America. The conference was held at The Huntington Jan. 27–28, 2017.
