Wet Change entered the church in the Nameless Graveyard and, when Del realized it was Thanksgiving, they decided to celebrate and found some food and drinks. Rumpleforeskin made a berry jelly and baked a calzone inside themself, they all played cards, and the Doctor Deputy put on such an incredible show with the Tech Deck that Tyler gave it to him …

The troupe left Protection Town and set off toward the Barren Hills. Del got her phone out and shared photos of them all in happier times and New Rogue connected again with Shadow Nemesis by reminiscing about Wet Change’s more bizarre sketches until they arrived at the Nameless Graveyard. The troupe had some loose ends to tie up before leaving Protection Town. Tyler saved the Doctor Deputy’s life by transferring him into a rat and then into the extra doll he’d kept, Shadow Nemesis returned from the ethereal plane and the best sex of his life and threatened to slice up New Rogue if he ever touched the squire again, Del received Unsoi…

The troupe has become further divided! While Shadow Nemesis was being charmed by the demoness Lucretia, Tyler and Del noticed that they always seem to need something to fight against, otherwise they devolve into petty infighting, and New Rogue taught the Doctor Deputy to channel prayer into magic before the squire revealed he’d in fact been praying…

The troupe suffered fallout from the bathroom ordeal that began at Chateau Nemesis. Tyler fastened a cloak into a kilt and gave Del his pants along with his jug of alchemy, which produced only mayonnaise, leaving it to Rumpleforeskin to lead a firefighting robot over to Del to finally spray her off. After hearing the Doctor Deputy’s concerning intentions, Tyler and Del convinced Denton Arthur to program safeguards into the squire’s robot body, Shadow Nemesis tried to teach the squire to not kill innocent people unless he was told to, and New Rogue unconsciously destroyed Ivan with his spectral hands and was left feeling even more distraught. After the robots saved the burning church, the troupe tried to get their bearings. The troupe entered Denton Arthur’s workshop, where the old man scanned their souls to distinguish them from doll swaps or doppelgangers in the future. The troupe were pursued by stitch monsters, but robots soon arrived and blasted them back. They set off toward the nearby town, Shadow Nemesis tried and failed to seize control of the robots, New Rogue tried to indoctrinate the Doctor Deputy about Ezra, Tyler conferred with the god and learned there might be other hero-like folk around, and Del had…

As the troupe trundled along, they were beset by two Frankenstein-like stitch monsters.
