All of us, I believe, have encountered in life moments of great doubts and ambiguity. What to do? How to engage these doubts? Can they help us grow as Christians? Let’s take another step together to “live the truth in love”

I am sharing with you my meditation and study on the texts of the liturgy of the Word for the 2nd Sunday of advent. Not a homily but just a sharing session.

Jesus calls us to follow Him. What does that mean? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

As we meditate on the experience of Jesus at His baptism we understand ours better. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

This feast reminds us that God attracts us to Himself. How is he calling you closer to Him? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

The feast of the Holy Family calls us to imitate Joseph, Mary, and Jesus. In their relationships we can find our vocation: to be always a family!

The story of the annunciation tells us how to start our Christian journey. But we need to listen to the message of the angel in a very precise part of our heart. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

God is with us. We rejoice for this wonderful realization. But what is stealing our joy? How can we make sure it becomes more permanent in us? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

A new parable. A new challenge. A new step that will allow us to understand how to live as Christians in the world today. Another step heavenwards “to Live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

The topic of forgiveness can be difficult to face, but not impossible to deal with. How can we experience a deeper union with God through forgiveness? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

The Word challenges us to value the presence of Jesus in our midst, and the Gospel also tells us how to achieve this wonderful and heavenly reality here in earth. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

Jesus is inviting us to face what scared us the most, or creates anxieties and fear in us. Are we ready to follow him? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

We follow Jesus as His disciples. He tells us how to partake of what He offers and be truly satisfied. Isn’t that what our hearts really desire? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (Rph 4:15)

Jesus asks us a specific question. We have learned a lot about the parables but do we understand the meaning? We answer by putting them into practice. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

Another parable. Another opportunity to learn about the plan that God has for us. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

The parable Of the sower speaks to us and invites us to enter into a mindset typical of the disciples: we are not in scarcity but in the Abundant Life God wants us to have in Christ. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

What does it mean to follow Jesus? Discipleship is based on choosing to follow Him, and let Him make us worthy of the new life God gives us in Christ. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

As we return to Ordinary Time, we ask ourselves how we can follow Jesus after all the celebrations we had, and what impact they should have on our lives as disciples. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

What does it mean to receive the Eucharist? How can this gift become a reality for us. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

Our Christian life rests on the trinity. But, how can we live our lives this way? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

How does the Holy Spirit renew the face of the earth? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

How can we live this wonderful reality of the Ascension? Let’s take another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

Jesus reveals to us how He wants us to love Him. Let’s take another step heavenwards together,”to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

What does it mean to have faith in God? In Jesus? And how does our faith help our troubled hearts find true peace? Another step heavenwards “to love the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

It’s time to follow the shepherd who leads us to the Father. How can we make sure we hear His voice? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

We follow the story of the disciples encountering Jesus on their way to Emmaus. How can we see Christ living in our midst? Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

Mercy allows us to grow as the church, the place where Jesus can dwell in our midst and give us His peace. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

We look at the story of Lazarus and discover that God, even though has His own logic, His own time, and His own way, is always with us, sharing our suffering and ready to give us New Life. We take together Another step heavenwards “to love the truth in love” (eph 4:15)

When we claim the life of Grace that God offers us through Christ, we allow Him to open our eyes and see Reality in a new way. Are you willing to let your baptism really come to life? We take together another step heavenwards, “to love the truth in love” (who 4:15)

The Samaritan woman helps us to understand the transforming path Christianity offers to all the followers of Jesus. How can we live our faith during this challenging time? Let’s take together another step Heavenwards to “live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

We continue our Lenten journey and follow Jesus on the mountain and, by contemplating The Transfiguration, we commit ourselves to listen to Him so that we too can experience the holy life of the children of God. Another step heavenwards, “to live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

Jesus gives us clear indications that our lives as Christians must make a difference in the world. It’s time we learn from Him how to do it and help each other in making it a reality. We take together Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

How can our righteousness be greater than that of the scribes and Pharisees? Let’s take together this step heavenwards to “live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)

Jesus shares with us His own ministry and mission. As we understand what it means to be salt of the earth and light of the world, we want to claim the good news that Christ shares with us today. Another step heavenwards “to live the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)
