Social Media…ah, the love hate relationship I have for it. Especially Instagram… but really, just social in general. Everyone is trying to keep up with the trends, the influencers, create the perfect strategy, “beat” the algorithm… and at the end of it all, we end up losing ourselves trying to create this professional and trendy image. Oftentimes, we end up building our entire brand around who we think we need to be, which only holds us back! One thing that has always been super important to me is being REAL on social media, being vulnerable, being true to who YOU are, and building your entire brand around that… around YOU. This is such a scary thing for so many people, and so many people have a hard time wrapping their head around the idea of how this works. If you’ve been with me for a while, you’ve heard me talk about some of the objections I hear like: “But I’m building a business, I want people to see me as a professional”, or “what does my life have to do with what I’m selling”. A recent (favorite) objection I’ve heard was “I’m a professional building my business. I’m not going to plaster my page in puppies and babies because I’m here to build my business”... Yikes. For me, puppies and babies are a huge part of who I am! And that’s how I’ve built my successful businesses. So, today we are going to get into a few tips to help you show up as who YOU are on social media AND continue to build the brand and business you’ve dreamt of!
