Dan is a super creative, power house extreme metal drummer. He has a really unique style and combines crazy stamina and endurance with multi pedal ostinatos and polyrhythms all mixed with the speeds you'd expect from extreme metal! Super impressive.
In this episode we talk about Dan's new business and passion project Bushido Studios, a purpose build drum recording studio in his home in Melbourne, Australia. We also talk a lot about writing and creating, maintaining drumming chops and the perils and struggles of being an extreme metal drummer in general. It's a great fun chat with a lot of laughing.
