Ben Gardner, Matt Roller and Yas Rana reflect on Australia's 42-run victory against Ireland in Brisbane, which saw the tournament hosts edge closer to qualifying for the semi-finals.

Ireland bowled well for the most part but a few wayward overs allowed Australia to post 179-5, with Aaron Finch hitting a timely half-century.

Ireland's top order were blown away at the start of their chase, losing five wickets inside the first four overs courtesy of Glenn Maxwell, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc.

Lorcan Tucker weathered the storm and played an outstanding knock of 71* from 48 balls, but the damage had already been done. The panel finish by previewing England's crucial, must-win fixture against New Zealand tomorrow.
