It occurred to me last week what is at the root of our biggest fears, when it comes to striving and putting ourselves out there.

We're hard-wired genetically to belong. It's a basic survival mechanism because we do better in groups.

The downside of this in our business world is the feelings of hurt we experience when we don't get the results we want. Less or no sales, cancellations, refunds. The pain associated with these events can prevent us from pursuring our dreams.

I explore all this, whether or not women experience it more deeply and how can we handle it so it doesn't disrupt our work too much.
