Similar to the super-secret chili recipes firehouses are famous for all over the nation, in our part of New England its the clambake secrets - what kind of sausage goes with that seafood, how long are the fires burning, which gets put first on the hot rocks that do the cooking, and how many games of horseshoes and how much beer will we need before the whole thing is ready!
