Cisco and Chester P. Runk start creating devices to detect Fuerza and Psych. While setting one near Chester's hometown, they are trapped in a time loop of the day before Chester's dad, Quincy, died in a car crash. With Quincy's help, Chester and Cisco build a device to detect and protect themselves from the "time god", Deon Owens, a high school quarterback who is attempting to prevent an injury that ruined his football career. Chester convinces him to let go his past and that the future remains unwritten, causing Deon to realize he can change everyone's futures before vanishing, ending the time loop, and returning Chester and Cisco back to the present. The two fail to find Deon, though they believe he is unaware of the Speed Force's revival. Cisco later discovers three other "forces" and names them Still, Strength, and Sage. Meanwhile, Barry emerges from his cryo chamber and Iris bonds with the Speed Force before inviting it to stay with her and Barry. Elsewhere, Chester begins working on his father's old project while Joe warns Frost of Kramer, though Frost refuses to hide.
